Question by happy smile: How long does it take to see results using acai berry supplements?
If I am eating right (salads, fruits, pretty much maintaining a healthy diet and taking out all the fatty foods) and going to the gym daily for 30 to 60 minutes, PLUS taking acai berry supplements, how long will it take to see some results? I need to lose weight in about a month before the summer starts

Hi Smile,

Many people that are new to the Acai Berry say that they begin seeing results within the first week. This change is most noticeable in an increase in energy, at first.

Weight loss follows shortly after because of this.

It sounds like you are eating healthy and working out the right way.

The word that really stuck out to me in your question was supplement. The pills that you are taking are just that, so they add to what you are already doing.

Someone that sits on the couch, and eats McDonald’s all day is going to feel and see a difference faster than someone who is living a healthier lifestyle.

I would just keep doing what you’re doing… maybe put in a little more time or work out a little harder. I’m sure you’ll reach your goal.

Has anyone heard of the brand Genesis Today? They sell an Acai Berry 100% Juice at Whole foods. I just want to make sure this is a good brand and not one of the million scam companies out there. It was pretty affordable and the juice looks real (really pulpy and think- dark purple)

What brand isn’t a scam. The locals where Acai berry is harvested think it’s quite humorous that Acai Berry has become so popular in America as a health supplement. The health benefits are not what they are claimed to be.

Question by Dolkite: Who is behind all these annoying acai berry ads?
I swear, I have NEVER seen a company spend more on online advertising, not even those stupid lowermybills ads with the dancing people or those horrid life insurance ads with the frowning babies.

Everywhere I go online, it’s “monica’s diet blog” or “myra’s diet blog” talking about losing “25 pounds of stomach fat” (yeah, right, like you can spot reduce) by “following one golden rule”, which turns out to be an ad for colon cleansing and acai berry supplements.

Then if you post a question online that has anything to do with fitness, at least one person directs you to the same damned site.

Is anyone else fed up with these ads?
cute – Actually, I’ll bet they’re making tons of money off of this. There are an amazing number of gullible and desperate people out there who will try anything other than the basic, boring, diet and exercise approach to losing weight.
